We are delighted to welcome walkers of all abilities to the moors. You can plan your own route from the hotel or we can organise one of our local guides to recomend a route ranging from 3 to15 miles, depending on how energetic you feel. All of our routes are tried and tested, ensuring you gain the maximum walking experience from your stay with us.

Some of our routes are circular, but several end at a different location, however, for your convenience, our mini-bus service will happily collect you from a pre-arranged pick-up point. If you wish to experience the moors as a group, then our local professional guides will be delighted to introduce you to the fauna and flora of the region.

Before venturing onto the moors please ask Reception to check the weather forecast for you and be sure that you leave your route and estimated time of return.
